06 Jul Revenue PAYE and LPT helpline reopens
Revenue announced the reopening of its National PAYE and Local Property tax helplines last week.
Revenue reopened its National PAYE helpline on 30 June, to assist and support employees and pension recipients who cannot access, use, or resolve their queries through myEnquiries. Revenue encouraged taxpayers to continue to use the online services available through myAccount or ROS where possible.
Revenue confirmed that it will continue to respond steadily to online enquiries for all customers who manage their tax affairs through myEnquiries. According to Revenue, it has responded to enquiries within 1 working day for over 50 per cent of PAYE enquiries while 75 per cent of enquiries have been answered within 2 working days.
The national PAYE helpline can be contacted on (01) 738 3636 and operates from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Revenue reopened its Local Property tax Helpline on 3 July. The Local Property tax Helpline can be contacted on (01) 738 3626 and operates from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Revenue is working to restore all customer helplines in a manner that aligns with public health advice. Further details on the reopening of Helplines can be read in Revenue’s press releases.
